Flat Stanley around the world!
We sent three Flat Stanleys which belong to Cande Siemaszko (5th B), Santi Farias (5th A) and Thomas Canda (5th C) to a school in England. They had a good time in a school in Burton. Miss Su Frost and their students hosted them there. They didn’t take any picture of our Flat Stanleys there but they sent them back with a journal.
We also sent two Flat Stanleys which belong to Hanna Levy and Mili Fusaro (5th B) to a school in Thailand. They did many things there.
Students were taken pictures with our Flat Stanleys in their school. The flat Stanleys went with them to Ancient Siam which is a tourist attraction. There they saw many temples and statues – for example the statue of Buddha –This is the sacred god of the Buddhist religion which is the main religion in Thailand. The Stanleys saw a floating market and an old style Thai house. They also took our Flat Stanleys to Kanchanabri which is about 1 hour and a half north of Thailand and it is the site of the bridge over the River Kwai which was significant in the second world war.
We also sent our Flat Stanleys to many other places but some of them got lost, some others are still having fun there and we don’t know anything about them and some others are travelling back to our school.
Have a look at all our pictures and have fun!
