The Writing Process:
The writing process is a method that helps students clarify and organize their ideas so that they can enrich their written production.
Three ways to organize ideas for a paragraph:
Sometimes it is difficult to think of topics to write about. There are three common ways to help students think about new ideas:

1. Clustering - Brainstorming
2. Making Lists
3. Asking Yourself Questions

Clustering:
During this stage, students will learn and work on clustering. This is another way to think of new ideas. The word "cluster" means a group of similar things. Clustering means putting words into groups. Each group, or cluster, has a number of words that are related to each other. It is similar to brainstorming. They try to think of many words and phrases. When they make a cluster map, they write the words and phrases in groups.
